Hello and welcome to the PaulMcCartney.com newsletter for May!
Regular readers may recall that last month's email was written on our flight home from Japan. This month's issue of 'What's That You're Doing?' has been written on the train from Liverpool to London as we've been on the road with Paul for his UK tour! (Did you catch Paul's live Meerkat broadcasts from the Liverpool show?)
Millions of fans all over the world have been getting 'Out There' with Paul over the last two years. This month it was the turn of Paul's UK fans! Over the past week Paul has played two nights at The O2 in London and one each at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena and Liverpool's Echo Arena.
PaulMcCartney.com was tweeting from each of the shows so if you'd like to check out exclusive photos (and a perfectly looping Vine of 'Hey Jude' that we're especially proud of!) from the shows, head to Paul's Twitter page HERE!
At Paul's London gig last Saturday - his 50th in the city as a solo artist! - he was presented a special PRS award for 'Yesterday', one of the world's most loved and popular songs. The award was handed over by TV personalities Ant and Dec. Find out more by clicking HERE!
Now, have you ever wondered what Paul would do if he were a woman for the day? This month we found out (sort of!) as PaulMcCartney.com published the LINE Q&A we did with him in Tokyo to launch his Sound Stickers. In the interview he also discloses his phone number and ringtone! Read the full Q&A by clicking HERE!
We also published a website blog taking fans behind-the-scenes on tour with Paul. Read about our Q&A with Paul, how he sang 'Happy Birthday' to us, a lovely fan email and the very cool Budokan wristbands by clicking HERE!
And fittingly, this month's 'You Gave Me The Answer' saw Paul wearing the tour guide hat giving us his recommendations for places to visit in Liverpool. Check them out by clicking HERE!
Have you seen Paul on his 'Out There' tour? If so we'd love to hear your memories on the Maccaboard or social media of choice using the hashtag #OutThere.
All the best!
