Paul discusses songwriting with Lily Cole

Hello and welcome to November’s issue of 'What's That You're Doing?'

November saw the reissues of the classic Wings albums Venus and Mars and At The Speed Of Sound. Remastered at Abbey Road Studios and supervised by Paul, both releases pulled together the original albums plus a wealth of additional material.

To celebrate the reissues, we created a new microsite telling the story of the band and the albums, sat down with Paul to discuss the song 'You Gave Me The Answer', and created an exclusive Spotify playlist featuring some of the songs that helped shape the sound of the recordings. We posted the original music video for 'Silly Love Songs' as well, which follows the band during their 'Wings Over The World' tour.

Paul has been discussing his forthcoming single 'Hope For The Future' this month. The track is taken from the year’s biggest video game release 'Destiny' and Paul sat down with musicians from Lily Cole’s website 'Impossible' to discuss writing his first song for a computer game. During the chat Paul also took questions from the audience and from Twitter…

…After the talk Paul answered additional questions from the Impossible community and November’s 'You Gave Me The Answer' sees him replying to three of these. To find out who inspired 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Polythene Pam', along with some of his personal favourite lyrics, click HERE!

Tens of thousands of fans witnessed Paul playing the final gig ever in San Francisco’s Candlestick Park back in August. You can now experience the track 'Live and Let Die' from the gig like never before… from the stage! Paul has partnered with app-makers Jaunt to give fans the chance to see just what it’s like being on stage during his show in a new 360 degree film of the performance. This month we have been posting photos of Paul sporting a moustache from the archives to coincide with the #Movember initiative, the campaign to raise funds and awareness about men’s health. We’ve now pulled these together — plus a few more! — to create a new photo collection. Check out the collection by clicking HERE!

And if all this wasn’t enough, Paul has been getting back #OutThere over the past weeks playing five gigs in Brazil, featuring dates in Vitória, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and two nights in São Paulo. He has also 'cover bombed' a design book which is up for auction — find out more by clicking HERE!
