What's That You're Doing? (No.9 / Vol.1)
Welcome to the PaulMcCartney.com newsletter for September.
If you've been keeping an eye on Paul's website this month you'll have seen plenty of updates about his forthcoming NEW album. The new release hits the shops on 14th October (15th October in the US) - just two weeks away now! - but Paul has been previewing a few songs from the album. He performed 'Everybody Out There', 'New' and 'Save Us' at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and on Hollywood Boulevard for Jimmy Kimmel Tonight. Fans in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand can stream the Hollywood Boulevard gig HERE!
Paul revealed the NEW album artwork and full tracklisting this month, including which bonus tracks will be included on the deluxe edition. Find out the full details - including who produced which songs - HERE!
This month Paul released two videos for 'New'. The first shows Paul backstage in Regina performing an impromptu version of the song as he gets ready for the gig. This quickly turned into an acoustic rendition with the band. The second is a lyric video made by tour videographer Charlie Lightening. It includes spectacular crowd scenes and touching moments of fans meeting Paul on stage giving us an exclusive glimpse at Paul's all-new show and his life on the road. Check them both out at the NEW YouTube video playlist HERE!
Paul's publicist Stuart Bell has posted a new entry to his blog 'For Whom The Bell Tells'. This month Stuart gives fans a behind-the-scenes peek into how the NEW album has been put together, he discusses the 'Potato' tweet (Paul's most shared since last year's Olympics!), plus there's a round up of the last dates on Paul's recent "Out There" tour in North America. Read all about it HERE!
Paul is asking for your NEW photographs. Wherever you see the word NEW Paul wants you to Instagram it using the hashtag #whatsnewPaul. We are re-posting our favourite photos, and who knows where else they may end up being used... Check them out HERE!
